Isotubi

Numepress is Isotubi's stainless steel tube and pressfitting system, supplied by Arcofire for sprinkler and fire protection pipework as an alternative to threaded or welded stainless steel installation. Isotubi, part of Grupo Lapuente, has manufactured stainless steel piping systems for over 40 years from its factory and warehouse in Barcelona, Spain.

All Numepress pipe and fittings are made from AISI 316L stainless steel. Joints are made with a pressfitting tool - manual, battery or electrically powered - rather than welding or threading: each diameter uses its own exchangeable jaw or collar, with machines covering the full range from 15 mm up to 168.3 mm (a second machine handles the largest sizes from 76.1 mm to 168.3 mm). M-profile jaws should always be used.

Range The Numepress catalogue covers couplings, slip couplings, 90 degree and 45 degree elbows (F-F and M-F), female and male angle adaptors, elbows with wallnut, valve connectors, tee adaptors, reducers, reducing tees, equal tees, female and male adaptors, flange adaptors, pipe bridges, ball valves, cross fittings, union connectors, and pipe penetrations - covering everything needed for a complete fire protection pipework installation without welding.

Applications Beyond fire-extinguishing (sprinkler) systems, the Numepress system is also used for compressed air, heating, sanitation, solar energy, plumbing, industrial facilities, shipping facilities, mining and gas installations.

Approvals Isotubi's production and quality control processes are TUV-certified to ISO 9001. The Numepress system holds the main European approvals for stainless steel pressfitting systems, including AD Merkblatt (Germany), the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/CE, CERTIF (Portugal), DVGW (Germany), SVGW, OVGW, the Numepress TUV product certificate (Spain and Portugal), LLOYDS, WATERMARK, SITAC, CSIRO, NSF, FM, WRAS, STO, ABS, and DNV Approval for ships.
